How much does MacBook repair cost in Ottawa?
It depends on your model and the part needed. Send us your model and the problem and we'll give you a free quote. Diagnostics are free when you go ahead with the repair; if you decide not to proceed, or the MacBook can't be repaired, a $29 diagnostic, pick-up and delivery fee applies.
How long does a MacBook repair take?
Most MacBook repairs are done in 1 to 2 business days, and some can be done the same day. Timing can depend on parts availability.
Do you come to me or do I need to drop off my MacBook?
We are a mobile repair shop: we pick up your MacBook at your home or office anywhere in Ottawa and Gatineau and drop it back off once it's repaired. Nothing is sent out.
Do you repair Apple silicon (M1, M2, M3) MacBooks?
Yes — we repair MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models with Intel and Apple silicon chips, plus older MacBooks.
Is MacBook repair cheaper than going to Apple?
In most cases, yes. We offer a low price guarantee and repairs are often a fraction of what you would pay at an Apple Store, with a 90-day warranty.
My MacBook won't turn on — can you fix it?
Very often, yes. A MacBook that won't power on or charge is usually a battery, charging or logic board issue. We diagnose it and repair it at board level with micro soldering when needed.
Do you repair MacBooks with liquid or coffee spills?
We can assess liquid-damaged MacBooks. Because liquid causes corrosion that can create hidden problems later, repairs on liquid-damaged devices do not carry a warranty. Turn the Mac off and contact us as soon as possible.
Will I lose my data?
Most repairs do not affect your data, but we always recommend backing up before any repair. Fix Revolution is not responsible for data loss during a repair.
Is there a warranty on MacBook repairs?
Yes. All MacBook repairs come with a 90-day warranty on parts and labour. It does not cover accidental, physical or liquid damage, misuse, or software-only repairs.
I'm outside Ottawa — can I mail in my MacBook?
Yes. Our nationwide mail-in service lets you ship your MacBook to us; we diagnose it, send you an estimate and return it once repaired.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, e-Transfer, debit and credit card. Payment is due at the time of service — no upfront payments.
